55 students within Houston ISD got to experience a two-week, job shadowing opportunity at various Houston petroleum exploration, production and service companies as a part of a student externship program sponsored by PESA and IPAA. The goal of the program is to provide future engineering and geosciences students enrolled in the PESA/IPAA Petroleum Academies a deeper understanding of current industry challenges and opportunities. As a part of their effort to grow the next generation of energy professionals, PESA and IPAA have provided more than $104,000 in scholarships to students in 2015.
