Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) representatives discussed opportunities for American collaboration in a webinar with the U.S. Commercial Service and supported by PESA.
Thomas Bruns, Commercial Counselor – U.S. Embassy Abu Dhabi, UAE said that despite the current health crisis, he sees opportunities to expand relationships for American companies in the Middle East region. This sentiment was echoed during ADNOC’s 2030 strategy overview by Abdulla Al Jarwan, SVP Planning & Performance, Upstream Directorate, who said global collaboration across industries is the key to success in the current environment.
A portion of the presentation focused specifically on the opportunities for oilfield services. Mohamed Al Zaabi, VP Unconventional, said reducing emission and methane leakage is central to ADNOC’s innovation and sustainability strategy. In addition to OFS providing sustainability solutions, technological innovation will help ADNOC produce at the lowest cost per barrel and make shale drilling economical.
