Petroleum Equipment & Services Association Elects 2016-2017 Board of Directors

Gardner Denver’s Saeid Rahimian, DistributionNOW’s Burk Ellison and Schlumberger’s Dan Domeracki to lead organization during the 2016-2017 term.

April 7, 2016 (SAN DIEGO): The Petroleum Equipment & Services Association (PESA) Board of Directors has elected Saeid Rahimian as its 83rd chairman, Burk Ellison as vice chairman and Dan Domeracki as first vice president for the 2016-2017 term. The leaders were announced at the PESA Annual Meeting on April 7, 2016.

“Since PESA was founded in 1933, our members have evolved with the energy industry, developing resources and tools in order for our members to succeed and to promote our industry as a whole,” said Rahimian. “In the coming year, I look forward to working with PESA’s board, staff and membership to further the understanding of the vital role the service and supply sector plays in the oil and gas industry.”

Saeid Rahimian is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Gardner Denver’s Energy Group, and corporate vice president. Before joining Gardner Denver, Rahimian was most recently EVP and Corporate Executive of Kennametal, Inc. and previously served in numerous leadership positions at Robbins & Meyers. He brings more than 30 years of experience in global business, engineering, sales and marketing. Rahimian obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Evansville and a master of science in mechanical engineering from The Ohio State University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.

Burk Ellison is the President of Supply Chain Services for DistributionNOW. Ellison’s 36 year career with DistributionNOW, started in Healdton, OK, and has worked his way through the organization, holding various Operations and Sales positions. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Eastern New Mexico University.

Dan Domeracki is Vice President, Government and Industry Relations for Schlumberger. Domeracki is an executive corporate sponsor for selected acquisitions, served on the Schlumberger Gender Diversity board and is an active sponsor in the Reservoir Engineering Community SIG in Schlumberger’s Eureka organization. He holds a master’s degree in Geology from the University of South Carolina.
