Artificial intelligence may dominate the headlines, but operators in the Permian are focused on a more practical question: What is actually delivering results?
Energy Workforce & Technology Council President Molly Determan will moderate a panel examining the technologies improving operational performance across the basin during the Permian Energy Dialogues on Wednesday, September 16.
The discussion, “Technology, AI, and Operational Performance: What’s Delivering Results in the Permian?” will bring together leaders representing the operator, midstream and technology perspectives:
- Norely Guedez, Unconventional Support and Services Manager, ExxonMobil
- Vikram Jayaram, Founder and CEO, Neuralix Inc.
- Martina Sittler, Vice President of Engineering & Construction, Targa Resources
The conversation will move beyond broad predictions about digital transformation to focus on where companies are seeing real returns from AI, automation and digital tools today.
Panelists will share what is working in the field, from reducing downtime and lowering costs to improving productivity and extending asset life. They will also tackle the practical barriers that can keep proven technology from gaining ground, including workforce shortages, limited infrastructure, power constraints and supply-chain disruptions.
The 45-minute panel begins at 11:10 a.m. on September 16.
