Energy Workforce Members and guests learned how to leverage the upcoming 2026 workforce development programs during a recent webinar on November 17. Program content providers and facilitators from Heidrick & Struggles, FranklinCovey, Pickering Energy Partners and Accenture were available to discuss the programs and answer questions.

The information provided in the webinar is key for those involved in budget planning for the upcoming year, ensuring employees across the industry are strategically equipped for optimal performance.

Energy Workforce President Molly Determan and People & Culture Committee Chair Kelly Munson, DNOW, kicked off the webinar, outlining the programs and introducing the content providers.

Laura Gironda, Heidrick & Struggles, discussed two of the Executive Leadership Program courses – Integrated Leadership: Leading with Influence, Agility & Accountability and Cultivating High-Performing Teams & Cultures, both yearlong programs offered by EWTC.

Doug Orr covered the returning Frontline Leadership and Core Leadership Skills for New and Upcoming Managers programs. He also shared information about a new training for alumni of the Frontline program entitled Frontline: Level Up.

Jessica McCann, FranklinCovey, reviewed three programs that will be offered in 2026: Finance for Non-Finance Professionals, Change Solutions, and the ever-popular, modernized 7 Habits for Highly Effective People.

Dan Romito, Pickering Energy Partners, provided an overview of the Power Markets and Oil & Gas program, which was offered for the first time this year. Due to the excellent feedback received and its relevant content, the program will return in the new year.

Megan Scott, Accenture, gave an update on what the AI for Business Leaders workshop will cover on January 29, outlining its content, which will include case studies and practical applications of AI across various industries.

President Molly Determan talked about the technical training EWTC offers: the SecureWell well control and containment certification program, the Person-in-Charge (PIC) well control supervisor course, and other courses. She then addressed returning training sessions and conferences, including the Oil & Gas 101 seminar, the Business Optimization Conference, the Supply Chain Conference, and the Energy Technology Conference. She spoke to the content of each and emphasized the practical applications and benefits of all of Energy Workforce’s training programs for various roles and industries.

Kelly Munson closed the session, providing information on how to identify candidates for the programs and how to communicate with them once selected. She emphasized the value of these programs and encouraged attendees to explore the professional development opportunities EWTC offers in the year ahead.

Early bird pricing will be available through December 31, 2025.
