Energy Workforce at Baker Hughes Annual Meeting 2025

The Baker Hughes Annual Meeting 2025 once again brought together global energy leaders, policymakers, and key stakeholders to tackle some of the most pressing issues shaping our industry. Representing Energy Workforce & Technology Council, President Molly Determan participated in discussions focused on energy security, regulatory challenges, and the evolving role of technology in oil and gas operations.

The LNG Allies Luncheon brought together industry representatives from North America and Europe to engage in conversations about transatlantic LNG policy priorities. From navigating EU methane regulations and U.S. permitting reform to refining the GHG MMRV framework, the dialogue reinforced a shared commitment to ensuring LNG remains a cornerstone of global energy security. Regulatory alignment and investment in infrastructure will be essential to sustaining growth and meeting future demand.

In addition, Energy Workforce President Molly Determan was at the table for the invite-only Sustainability Dinner, where industry leaders explored strategies to enhance operational efficiency, emissions management, and the future of energy development. These discussions underscored the sector’s ongoing commitment to producing energy responsibly while safeguarding global energy security.

With energy demand rising and geopolitical factors reshaping markets, #BHAM2025 provided a much-needed platform to align industry priorities, exchange ideas, and drive progress. Energy Workforce remains committed to advocating for the policies and innovations that support our workforce and strengthen the long-term success of the energy sector.

A special thank you to Baker Hughes for hosting and to all our industry partners for their valuable insights and collaboration.
