EWTC Welcomes New Leaders to Advance Member Opportunities Across Latin America

EWTC Latin America Chapter Leadership

The Energy Workforce & Technology Council (EWTC) is pleased to welcome new leadership to the EWTC Latin America Chapter, strengthening the Council’s engagement across one of the world’s most dynamic and strategically important energy regions.

Alejandro Hernandez, Vice President-Baker Hughes Americas, Baker Hughes will serve as Chair of the EWTC Latin America Chapter, with Santiago Pojmaevich, Regional Manager-South America, GD Energy Products, continuing to serve as Vice Chair. Their leadership will help advance EWTC’s mission to connect U.S. energy technology and services companies with opportunities across Latin America and supporting EWTC member companies in the region by strengthening collaboration, advocacy, and industry relationships throughout the region.

The Latin America Chapter continues to play an important role in supporting EWTC members as they navigate evolving energy markets, investment opportunities, regulatory developments, and supply chain considerations across Latin America. With growing demand for energy development and technology, the region presents significant opportunities for U.S. energy technology and services companies.

EWTC is also pleased to announce Wagner Sardenberg, Key Account Manager, HMH, as Chair of the EWTC Brazil Subchapter. Brazil is a critical market for the global energy industry, particularly given its significant offshore resources and continued investment in energy infrastructure and technology. The Brazil Subchapter will provide an important platform for members to engage with industry leaders and strengthen connections within Brazil’s energy sector.  The Brazil Subchapter co-hosted a cocktail reception during ROG.e in conjunction with the Brazil-Texas Chamber of Commerce (BRATECC) that included speakers from Petrobras, IBP-Brazilian Petroleum and Gas Institute, and Agencia Nacional de Petroleo, Gas Natural e Biocombustiveis, ANP.

The EWTC Latin America Chapter and Brazil Subchapter will provide an important platform for members to build relationships, engage with regional stakeholders, and better navigate the policy and commercial environments shaping energy development across Latin America.

Together, this leadership team will help build on EWTC’s growing presence throughout Latin America and create additional opportunities for members to engage in the region. EWTC looks forward to working with Alejandro, Santiago, and Wagner as they help expand the Council’s international reach and support the U.S. energy technology and services industry across Latin American markets.
