PESA hosted a fellow, Tessa Schreiber, this summer through the PESA/Rice Center for Civic Leadership Fellowship Program. Schreiber was PESA’s second summer intern, and she quickly became an integral and valued part of the PESA team.
Schreiber primarily worked on public policy efforts, including tariffs and trade, and NAFTA. She worked closely with PESA President Leslie Beyer, learning about the top issues of note to PESA Member Companies. She also led a website content revision of PESA’s Public Policy Center and represented PESA at various events.
Schreiber returns to Rice this fall as a sophomore, majoring in economics and social policy analysis.

Pam Ekechukwu, senior in chemical and biomolecular engineering at Rice, said that her PESA fellowship in 2017 gave her a new perspective into the oil and gas industry.
