Energy Workforce President Tim Tarpley for been named one of The Hill’s top lobbyists for the second year in a row. The annual list honors corporate lobbyists, trade association leaders and government affairs professionals, and grassroots activists.

In 2023, Tarpley and the government affairs team have engaged with stakeholders, holding more than 100 meetings with Members of Congress, hosting events for local officials, and ensuring the sector’s views are heard during the regulatory process by filing official comments on proposed rules from executive agencies. Tarpley has also testified in front of Congress on issues important to the industry.

The energy technology and services sector accounts for more than 650,000 American jobs. As that number grows, so too does the significance of the critical policy issues facing our sector. Energy Workforce is a strong advocate for Energy Workforce Members by working toward fair and practical trade practices, balanced regulatory measures, and increased access to onshore and offshore resources.
