PESA’s year-long Executive Leadership Program to develop the oilfield’s next generation of industry leaders is now entering its third year, building on the success of each previous year. The 2016 program provided leadership development opportunities to participants from more than 20 member companies through training seminars, leadership events and a targeted mentorship program.
A unique facet of the program is mentorship provided by many of PESA’s Board of Directors and Advisory Board Members. Through this exceptional opportunity, the class is able to obtain strategic career advice and develop valuable relationships with industry leaders.
“The PESA Executive Leadership Program has been a tremendous benefit for my career goals. The program allowed me to meet individuals that had similar career goals, teach me the importance of a mentor and most of all identify my drive to be a leader in my career. The executive coaching sessions were extremely beneficial. Whether you want to advance, stay at your current position or not sure what the next step is, the PESA Executive Leadership Program will help you identify what your next strategic move should be,” said past participant Violeta Spicer, Director of Office Operations, Industrial Specialties.
The seminars helped identify personal leadership styles and apply a vision model to achieve goals and motivate others. The course has almost doubled in participation over the past two years and 100% of attendees surveyed would recommend the course to others.
