PESA is pleased to announce two new members of the Advisory Board, which contributes to the direction of PESA, promotes PESA participation within their companies and strengthens PESA’s membership via their personal industry connections. The new members include Pearl Chu, Center Manager, Technology, Schlumberger, and Kyle Ramachandran, President & CFO, Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Inc.
Pearl Chu
Center Manager, Technology

Pearl Chu is currently Technology Center Manager, leading one of the largest engineering and manufacturing centers developing products and services that Schlumberger provides globally. Before this position, from 2013 to 2017, Pearl held the role of Human Resources Director for the Schlumberger Technology organization, developing strategic leadership and talent programs for the more than 10,000 technology center employees.
With more than 25 years of experience with Schlumberger, Pearl has held multiple leadership roles including operations management with P&L responsibilities, R&D, marketing and human resources. Having started her career as a mechanical engineer in Houston, Pearl has spent almost half of her time working overseas with positions in Paris, Beijing and Kuala Lumpur. This mix of international experience, technical background and variety of functional roles has resulted in a unique blend of technical/international leadership in the industry.
Pearl holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (Master of Science) and Texas A&M University (Bachelor of Science).
Kyle Ramachandran

Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Inc.
Kyle Ramachandran serves as President and Chief Financial Officer for Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure, Inc (“Solaris”). Previously Kyle served as Vice President, Corporate Development and Strategy. Prior to joining Solaris, Kyle was a member of the Barra Energia management team, a First Reserve and Riverstone sponsored E&P vehicle based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Before joining Barra Energia, Kyle spent two years at First Reserve Corporation (Greenwich, CT), a global energy-focused private equity firm. Kyle began his career in Citigroup’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group (New York).
He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the Carroll School of Management Honors Program at Boston College, where he graduated cum laude. In 2018, Kyle was recognized by Oil and Gas Investor magazine as an honoree for their Class of 2018 Forty Under 40. He was selected as one of the 40 featured individuals from across the nation who have excelled in entrepreneurial leadership and problem-solving. Kyle is originally from Greenwich, CT and currently lives in Houston, TX with his wife Tiffany and their son, Pierce.
